In response to changes in funding, SNAP Financial Access (SFA) has relocated from the MLK Jr. Family Outreach Center to SNAP’s main office at 3102 W. Whistalks Way, Spokane, WA 99224. The move is part of a broader strategic restructuring to ensure long-term sustainability of vital community services.

  • July 1, 2025: Services resume by appointment at the new Whistalks Way location

Even with some program reductions, our commitment to Spokane County remains strong. We are still providing:

  • 🏠 Foreclosure prevention services through HUD-certified housing counselors
  • 💼 Small business loans and entrepreneurial support
  • 💬 Financial education and coaching

While the number of services we currently offer has been reduced, our commitment to helping Spokane residents stay housed and financially stable remains strong.

SNAP is taking strategic steps to continue supporting our community:

  • Consolidating office space to reduce costs
  • Retaining core staff to deliver essential services
  • Seeking support from funders and applying for discretionary grants
