Energy Conservation Education: The Energy Conservation Education program offers practical information about low-cost or no-cost energy conservation measures for the home. SNAP’s Energy Conservation Educator is available to speak to groups, attend outreach tabling events and develop community workshops. Participants in the Energy Conservation Education program receive free energy savings items, live demonstrations, and resource materials. Free energy conservation items for Spokane County residents are also available at all SNAP offices. To schedule an event for your group or request more information, please email our energy conservation specialist at howard2@snapwa.org
Weatherization: Energy Conservation Education is also provided through our Weatherization program! In addition to providing you with tips and tools to conserve on your energy bill, Weatherization can conduct an energy audit and repair energy inefficiencies in your home.
