Important Update on Minor Home Repair Eligibility
Due to recent funding changes, SNAP’s Minor Home Repair program is now limited to individuals who are 60 years of age or older. We understand this may be disappointing, and we remain committed to seeking resources that support broader access in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
Many low-income homeowners do not have the means to repair or maintain their homes, yet affordable housing often has dangerous or unhealthy defects. SNAP has several types of Home Repair Programs that can make repairs, or provide access to loans, for items in your home that pose health or safety hazards such as no heat, no water and low-cost plumbing issues.
*This program does not assist with cosmetic work.*
