Dear Neighbors,
Our current crisis with COVID-19 offers our community many reasons to be fearful and anxious. At SNAP, we are privileged to frequently witness reasons to be hopeful. Some amazing things are happening in our community.
At SNAP, we are witness to our Energy Team working together to respond to DOUBLE the emergency assistance requests. We have observed our “Spokane Ride to Health” team strive to meet community needs by expanding support for food transportation and prescription delivery. We have seen our Homeless Outreach crew practicing social distancing (some wearing full hazmat gear!) while conducting inspections and moving clients into homes at at time where it’s most critical.
