POSITION SUMMARY

SNAP is seeking a qualified individual for a Chief Administrative Officer position to work in SNAP’s Mission Support Core. This position is full-time and open to all qualified individuals.

SNAP’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and plays a key role in mission execution. We seek someone who brings a powerful combination of human resources, communications and fundraising, leadership, people skills, creativity, nonprofit experience, and administrative support who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate is an accomplished professional and seasoned people manager who has experience with strategic equity-informed thinking, problem-solving skills, and people management, as well as knowledge of nonprofit
operations, fund accounting, partner management, and day-to-day operations. They radiate confidence, compassion, and approachability and possess exceptional ethical judgment and strong interpersonal skills with a calm presence. They bring daily SNAP’s values of community,
respect, justice, and equity to life and take responsibility for creating a positive, effective workplace culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Nine years of progressive leadership experience in a nonprofit social service position with knowledge and application of human resources concepts, advocacy, communications and fundraising and supervisory experience required.
