Eligibility, Requirements, and Disclosures for all loans:

The purpose of Vehicle Emission Repair Program (VERP) is to provide emissions reductions by repairing vehicles that fail the state-mandated vehicle emission test in Spokane County. VERP will fund vehicle repairs that are necessary, in order for qualifying vehicles to pass a subsequent emission test of that result in significant improvement of emissions. Requirements to Qualify for the VERP Program are as follows:
  1. You must have failed your  vehicle emissions test (current tab renewal cycle)
  2. Must have current driver’s license
  3. Must have current proof of vehicle insurance
  4. Must have current income verification for all adults in the household
  5. Must meet household income guidelines which are below the 200% Federal Poverty Guidelines
