SNAP money management services help to prepare you for using our other financial services, designed to help you move toward prosperity. These include:

Second Chance Banking: Second Chance Banking is a program aimed at restoring banking privileges to people who are unable to get a checking or savings account, usually due to prior overdrafts. This program can also help people who have never had a bank account and need help learning how to use one, or who are threatened with losing their account.

Bank On Spokane: This partnership program helps you open a convenient, money-saving account with friendly specialists at a partner bank or credit union, and makes it easier for you to cash your paycheck without paying high fees.

Credit Builder Loans: The Credit Builder program can help you establish new credit, improve existing credit or disputing errors. We’ll help you work on a budget and check your credit score. This can be done in a classroom setting, through one-on-one interaction, or both.

Free Classes: SNAP’s free classes, “Give Yourself a Raise” and “Navigating Your Credit World”, will give you all the basic information you need to be successful in managing money, as well teaching you about other topics like budgeting, saving, disputing errors, avoiding predatory lenders and achieving financial goals.

Vehicle Emission Repair Program: Qualified participants in this program can apply for a loan to cover the costs of vehicle emission repairs.
