About SNAP
Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners (SNAP) is a Community Action Agency that has been stabilizing and equipping neighbors to exit poverty for 60 years. Today, SNAP is one of the largest private human services agencies in Spokane County, serving approximately 39,000 individuals each year with an operating budget of $34 million.
Along with its subsidiary CDFI, SNAP Financial Access, and 13 related entities, SNAP delivers a wide range of services—including Energy Assistance, Financial Counseling, Small Business Lending, Housing, and Home Repair—through the work of 146 staff members and thousands of volunteer hours annually.
The Opportunity
The Chief Executive Officer serves as SNAP’s strategic leader, public representative, and culture champion. Reporting to the Board of Directors and leading an experienced Executive Team, the CEO ensures mission alignment, organizational stability, and long-term impact during a time of historic community need.
The ideal candidate brings a deep commitment to community service, strong leadership experience, and the ability to balance continuity with thoughtful, forward-looking change.
Relocation to Spokane, Washington is required prior to the start date.
Some local and periodic domestic travel is required.

Position Overview
The CEO provides overall leadership and direction for SNAP and its related entities, including SNAP Financial Access. Working closely with the SNAP and SFA Boards of Directors, the CEO advances organizational priorities; ensures compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures; and champions SNAP’s mission, values, and impact throughout the community.
The CEO serves at the pleasure of the Board.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years combined education and relevant experience
• At least 6 years of senior leadership within a multi-agency organization
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $170,000–$220,000
