Many opportunities require only a desire to help others, but some volunteer positions require specialized training or experience to be successful.
YES. All volunteers at SNAP are required to submit a background screening form. The purpose of this background check is to protect the low-income and vulnerable people the agency serves.
The hours will vary depending on the project and your availability. SNAP volunteers serve between 2 to 30 hours per week.
