Volunteers bring spirit to Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs! Our generous and dedicated volunteers play a critical role in the success of SNAP services. In 2006, volunteers donated nearly 10,000 hours of their time!

Our volunteers:

• worked in SNAP's food pantries
• helped with repair and maintenance of low income housing and grounds
• served dinners to the homeless
• performed clerical assistance
• taught classes and workshops
• coordinated special events
• got grubby on property clean-up and beautification projects
• and lots more!

Without these hard-working, dedicated groups and individuals, many projects would be delayed for lack of peoplepower, and fewer low-income households in our community would be served.
