Background

The Sack Dinner began in September of 2000, with the goal of serving the greatest number of people possible, with outreach through a collaboration of agencies, and to provide needed meals for the community.

Outreach allows on-going engagement with those needing social services, allowing for familiarity and trust, and leading to services and the path to self-sufficiency. Sack Dinner participants may choose to volunteer their time and skills, while receiving training and experience.

In partnership with REM Associates/Hope Partners and Spokane Mental Health.
