
Eligibility
- An initial eligibility for your household will be determined at the time
of making an energy appointment
- If your household appears to be eligible and if there are funds available,
an appointment will be scheduled.
- If your household appears not to be eligible for energy assistance, a referral
for an appropriate resource can be given.
The amount of assistance varies and is based on:
- your household’s actual annual heating costs
- family size
- the type of housing
- household income
The total household income must be
at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines.

Households are eligible for this program once per year (for the purposes of this program, the year starts Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30).

appointment for the 2005-2006 season please check back to this web-site for
information as it becomes available. We typically announce the start of the
Energy appointment schedule in the fall of each year. The start date will vary
from year to year.

from 10:00 A.M.to 2:00 P.M. and Thursdays from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.. This
appointment schedule may vary from year to year.
This appointment line will be open throughout the winter. Each week, appointments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis and fill up quickly. If you are unable to get an appointment during one week, you may continue to call in the following week(s) to get an appointment.
You will need to bring the following to your appointment:
- proof of address
- proof of all household income for the previous 3 months from appointment
date.
- proof of all adult Social Security numbers
Other documents may also be required.
