How To Apply
To apply for VERP you must:
- be in your current emissions testing cycle
- fail the emissions test
Contact SNAP for an appointment prior to having your vehicle repaired.
Important Information and Required Paperwork Include:
When you come for your appointment, you will be asked bring a number of items, including:
- Your failed emissions test report
- Proof of all household income for the previous month (check stubs, or other documentation)
- Valid drivers license
- Proof of insurance
- Social Security numbers and birth dates for all members of the household
This program is offered in partnership with the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority and the Washington State Department of Ecology.
