
Eligibility
There are two funding sources that have different eligibility criteria, state and federal. Those who do not qualify under the state program may be eligible under the federal funds.
State IDA Program This program is WorkFirst funded, and expires June, 2005.
- must have at least one child under the age of 18 living in the home
- must have received a TANF cash benefit or be currently eligible
- must be employed
- household income under 175% of Federal Poverty Rate (2003 guidelines):
- 2 persons:  $1768/month
- 3 persons:  $2225/month
- 4 persons:  $2683/month
- 5 persons:  $3141/month
- 6 persons:  $3599/month
- 7 persons:  $4057/month
- 8 persons:  $4515/month
Federal IDA Program
- must have been employed steadily for at least 1 year
- household income under 200% of Federal Poverty Rate (2003 guidelines):
- single person:  $1497/month
- 2 persons:  $2020/month
- 3 persons:  $2543/month
- 4 persons:  $3067/month
- 5 persons:  $3590/month
- 6 persons:  $4113/month
- 7 persons:  $4637/month
- 8 persons:  $5160/month
