This program assists low to moderate income individuals to successfully start or expand a business and provide a future of financial security for themselves and their families.

The services offered include:                                   

• Classroom workshops on preparing for self-employment; writing a business plan; and how to start or expand a business.
• One-on-one business consulting.
• Start-up or business expansion loans from $500 to $25,000 at competitive interest rates.
• Post-loan, post-program business consulting services to ensure continued financial success.

Applicants must meet 80% of median income guidelines based on total household income and number of family members and live in Spokane County. The business must employ 5 or fewer employees.
 
To apply, complete a Microenterprise Program application and mail it to SNAP Financial Access, 212 S. Wall St., Spokane WA 99202.

Applications are reviewed and approved by our business development team.
