U-Help funds come from contributions made by Spokane utility customers. All of the donations are used to help persons in need within the City of Spokane.

Services: This program assists low income families with final notices of their City of Spokane utility bill (water and trash services).

Requirements: Households income must be below federal poverty guidelines. Households may be assisted only once in a 12-month period.

Application procedure: Clients must call the city to confirm the minimum required to keep service on; then call the Northeast SNAP office to make an appointment at 487-1114.
