SNAP is a part of a number of communities in which there is a need to increase and develop the supply of quality affordable rental housing in Spokane. SNAP’s Property Development program accomplishes this through a variety of approaches:

• Acquire, build and/rehabilitate existing housing properties through the complex process of obtaining funding sources, building contracts and sources of materials.
• Oversee and monitor construction and rehabilitation in compliance with building codes.
• Develop and construct new properties for low-income rental, shelter or transitional housing.
