SNAP’s Transitional Housing Program will provide up to 12 months of case management and temporary housing services for eligible homeless families with children.

Services: This program provides case management, Community Voice Mail service, temporary housing, outreach activities and homeless daycare.

Requirements: Eligible persons must be part of a family who is homeless with children. Those who participate must show motivation to make positive changes in their lives. They must be drug and alcohol free for at least 90 days.

Application Procedure: Call 456-7106 to schedule an appointment or visit the East Central Community Center SNAP office at 500 S. Stone. The first 12 families that call or visit on Monday mornings at 8:30 a.m. will be invited to an intake meeting to explain SNAP’s homeless program.
