Where does the money that pays for services provided by the Home Repair Program come from?

The program is funded with Community Development Block Grant Funds through the City and County of Spokane, Washington State Community Service Act funds through Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington, United Way, and donations.

How much will I have to pay for Home Repair services I receive?

Most of the repairs done through the program are a grant and do not have to be paid back. But, if you are over 60 and over the income guidelines, we will process your request to see if you qualify for help on a sliding fee scale.

Whose income do I have to include to determine if I am eligible for the program?

Income from all sources for everyone age 18 and over who live in the household must be listed. Income guidelines can be found here..

How long will it take before I know if my application has been approved?

Applications are usually approved within one week.
