SNAP offers employment opportunities as diverse as the services we provide, some fairly unique in a social services setting. In some of our offices you will find:

Resident managers and maintenance technicians oversee and care for properties we own that are homes to individuals and families we serve. We have a number of employees who specialize in home inspections, conservation education, and minor home repairs and weatherization.

And our Energy Assistance Program offers several seasonal employment opportunities, with a core staff that returns year after year.

In addition, SNAP has a number of volunteer opportunities, directly through the Agency, or through the VISTA volunteer program. Work-study positions are available for eligible students, and we welcome proposals for internships.
