Part I: How This Process Works
  1. You MUST reside in Spokane County.
    a.  Not sure whether you live in Spokane County? Check this Zip Code list.
    b.  Outside Spokane County and need energy assistance? Try www.liheapwa.org.
  2. You cannot have received energy assistance since October 1, 2007.
  3. You must be income eligible: Click here for Household Size and Income chart.
Part II: Getting an appointment
  1. Appointments are scheduled on a first come first serve basis (for HEATING assistance ONLY on this web site). If you need help with anything other then a HEAT bill, you must call the SNAP office closest to your home. Click here to find the office that serves your area.
  2. You have 30 minutes to complete this portion to secure your appointment.
  3. You will need to fill in: total number of people in the household, your name, address, phone number and All income from the 3 months prior to the month of your appointment. You want to have all required information available before continuing, as the 30-minute clock will start when you click on the "Begin the application process" button.
  4. Fill out required boxes and then click "get an appointment button."
  5. When you complete the application and it is determined that you MAY qualify you will be prompted to select an appointment location and a time period from the online calendar.
  6. There are three possible SNAP offices to choose from for IN office appointments:

    NorthEast at 4001 North Cook, Spokane WA  99207 (Northeast Community Center)
    OR
    Valley at 10814 E Broadway, Spokane Valley WA  99206 (Spokane Valley Community Center)
    OR
    West Central at 1603 N Belt, Spokane WA  99205 (West Central Community Center)
