and vulnerable people by:
- Providing human services, housing and economic opportunities in a manner,
which enhances dignity
- Advocating for programs, policies and resources that maximize individual
capacities and promote communities
Range of services
Since 1966, SNAP has helped homeless and low-income families, children and seniors. As a private, non-profit Community Action Agency, SNAP's goal is to help families and individual's transition from crisis to self-sufficiency, building new and healthy futures.
As the largest private human services agency in Spokane County, SNAP staff focus on serving the whole family and are committed to providing a wide-range of accessible services to those living in poverty. SNAP's neighborhood offices are positioned to provide the most basic of human needs that many of us take for granted.
SNAP, also serves as the local and regional advocate for the most vulnerable people living within our community. SNAP, with its dedicated board of directors, staff and volunteers, is diligent in its search for long-term solutions to eliminate poverty in the lives of our neighbors.
